Stop 2 on my tour was the action for Occupy Rose Parade in Pasadena. This is just a bit of what I saw. As with the rest of the site, all photos were taken by F. Thomas Cardenas.
Occupiers gathered at Singer Park at 7 a.m. to work on the "Occupus" human float. It is representative of the multiple aspects of corporate greed and some organizers hope it will remain as a symbol of the larger movement.
The crowd all had individual goals, but stood in solidarity.
The crowd grew as the march advanced down the parade route, passing many of the same institutions it was protesting.
